Mobilisation Training Records Before the Gang Leaves the Yard

Check assigned training, expiry and evidence for the people you are about to send. FieldClear does not authorise access or write a mobilisation plan.

  • Named-gang filter before vans leave
  • Expired and missing against assigned roles
  • Files ready if the gate asks
  • Upload the sheet you already check on Sunday

14-day free trial. No card required.

The list on the whiteboard is not a status

Names on a mobilisation board do not carry expiry dates. Filter those names in the matrix before the first van.

Subcontractors fail first

The people you know best are usually current. The labour-only names added on Friday afternoon are not. Worker type makes that visible.

Reminders between jobs

You will not open the spreadsheet after every job. Warnings keep dates honest so the next mobilisation is not a surprise.

  • Filter the named gang
  • You choose who is notified
  • Archive leavers so the list stays true

How it works

From spreadsheet to live matrix in minutes.

No implementation project. No onboarding calls. Start with the file you already maintain.

  1. Step 1: Upload your matrix

Import your existing Excel or CSV file.

  2. Step 2: We organise it

Map workers, roles, requirements and expiry dates.

  3. Step 3: See what needs attention

Instantly see expired, expiring and missing requirements.

Quick answer

Mobilisation training records means checking that the people you plan to send hold the assigned training you require, with current dates and files. FieldClear supports that check. It does not authorise site access, book vans, or decide what a principal contractor will accept at the gate.

Sunday-night screenshots

Someone photographs the matrix and posts it to the gang chat. Nobody notices a date that passed on Thursday. A live status on the named people is the same five-minute job with a better answer.

A pre-mobilisation pass

  1. Keep the matrix updated after starters and leavers.
  2. Before mobilisation, filter to the named people.
  3. Fix expired and missing items or swap names.
  4. Have files available if the gate or client asks.
  5. Leave reminders on so the next job inherits a current list.

What FieldClear does not do

  • It does not authorise site access.
  • It does not write a mobilisation or logistics plan.
  • A ready status is not a permit to start.

You can keep using Excel. But Excel won’t chase expiries for you.

Excel is flexible, familiar and free, which is exactly why almost every contractor starts there. The limitation isn’t the spreadsheet — it’s that a spreadsheet can only tell you what someone last typed into it.

Plenty of contractors run a perfectly good spreadsheet for years. The question isn’t whether Excel works — it’s whether anyone is checking it the week something quietly expires.

Questions people ask before signing up

When should we use FieldClear instead of Excel?

Use FieldClear when more than one person edits the matrix, when certificates expire without anyone noticing, or when you need evidence attached to the same record as the date. A carefully maintained spreadsheet can still work for a tiny team with one owner; FieldClear is for when the spreadsheet has become an active operational job.

Can I import my existing Excel training matrix?

Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file, map the columns to workers, roles, qualifications and expiry dates, then preview the result. Nothing is created until you confirm the import.

Can I get reminders before certificates expire?

Yes. The system monitors expiry dates and sends reminders in advance. You choose how far ahead reminders are sent and who receives them.

Can I track subcontractors?

Yes. Workers can be recorded as employees, subcontractors, agency workers or other worker types, and you can filter the matrix by type.

Does the software tell me which qualifications are legally required?

No. The system helps you track the requirements your organisation assigns. You remain responsible for determining what applies to your workers and activities. We do not provide legal or health and safety advice.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days with the full product and no card required. Import your matrix, invite colleagues and see whether it fits how you work. If you do nothing at the end of the trial, the account simply stops.

Your training matrix already exists. Make it useful.

Upload your spreadsheet and turn it into a live view of who’s current, what’s expiring and what needs attention.
